မွာပါရေစ ေျပာပါရေစ

ကိုယ္ေသရင္ မငိုနဲ႔
ပါးစို႐ံု ရိွမွာေပါ့။

သပိတ္မသြတ္နဲ႔
လြတ္ၿပီးသား ကၽြတ္ၿပီးသား။

ထမင္းမထုပ္နဲ႔
သိုးစာ၊ ပုပ္စာ၊ ျဖဳန္းတီးစာ။

အိုးမခြဲနဲ႔ အိုးမလို
ဘာကိုမွ ကိုယ္မစြဲဘူး။

အပြင့္အခက္ ယူမသြားနဲ႔
ျပန္လိုက္ရမယ့္အစား မဟုတ္ဘူး။

ရက္လည္၊ လလည္၊ ႏွစ္လည္
ဘာကိုမွ မလည္နဲ႔
သံသရာႀကီးမွာ လည္ခဲ့သူ။

ကိုယ္ေသရင္ မငိုနဲ႔
ႀကိဳႀကိဳၿပီး ေသထားသူ။

“ဘုရားရွင္ရဲ႕ ဂုဏ္ေတာ္”ကို
ျမတ္ႏိုးပူေဇာ္ရင္း
အႀကိမ္ႀကိမ္ အေသရင္းထားသမို႔
မရဏမင္းဆီ ေပ်ာ္ေပ်ာ္သြားမွာ။

ၿပီးေတာ့ ဆက္ေျပာပါရေစ...
သာသနာ၊ စာေပ၊ ပရဟိတ
လုပ္လက္စေတြကို ဆက္လုပ္ဖို႔
ေဟာဒီ ခ်စ္ရတဲ့ မိခင္ေျမကို
ျပန္လာခဲ့မယ္ မုခ်။

ဒီေတာ့ ကိုယ္ေသရင္ မငိုနဲ႔
ေျဖသာစမ္းပါ၊ ျပံဳးစမ္းပါ။

လူသာဆံုးတာ က်န္တာ မ႐ံႈးဘူး

မွာခဲ့ၿပီ၊ ေျပာခဲ့ၿပီေနာ္၊ ဒါပါပဲ။

May I say . . .

(1)

For cheeks will get wet,

Don't cry when I pass away.

For I'm destined to go higher and better places,

Don't make any funeral ritual.

For it will be a waste,

Don't give my corpse a packet of food.

For I'm not attached to anything,

Don't break any earth pot.

For I don't belong to those kinds which wander around afterlife,

Don't bring a flower or petiole from a cemetery as me.

For I have been lingering around in Samsara,

Don't make any anniversary observances for my death after a month or a year.

For I have rehearsed my death several times,

Don't cry when I depart.

For I believe in qualities of Buddha and am familiar with the death,

I'll go and meet my maker happily.

Allow me to continue ...

To carry on with my works in my faith, literature and social developments,

I will for sure return to this land I cherished.

Hence, don't cry when I die.

Stay calm and smile for me, please.

I just lost my existence but nothing else.

That's my will and these are my last words.

And that's all I wanna say.
